Cooperativa Latte Arborea is strengthening its growth strategy with a plan that combines product innovation, environmental sustainability, and industrial investments. After closing 2025 with growing financial results, the Sardinian company is relaunching with new products and a packaging upgrade, aiming to meet evolving consumer needs.

Last year, the Cooperative recorded a turnover of €267 million, a 9% increase compared to 2024, with a production of 191 million liters of cow's milk. The Italian market currently represents 56% of turnover, while the regional market maintains a 44% share.

On the industrial front, major upgrades have been completed at the Arborea and Roverè della Luna plants. These include the expansion of the ESL bottling line, the modernization of the UHT department, the completion of the automated warehouse, and new yogurt lines, along with the installation of a photovoltaic system to improve energy efficiency.

The Cooperative also confirms its commitment to ensuring adequate remuneration for its farmer members, maintaining a price of 50 cents per liter starting in 2026, along with bonuses tied to milk quality. This decision aims to support the stability of the supply chain in a context characterized by still-high energy and logistics costs.

Among the main innovations are the new 500- and 250-milliliter formats of UHT milk packaged in bottles made from 50% recycled plastic (rPET). This choice responds to the growing prevalence of smaller households and single consumers, as well as promoting a reduction in food waste.

Important innovations also come from the A-Yo kefir line. The offering is expanding with new drinkable options, including versions with collagen, matcha, and more protein, as well as new lactose-free spoon kefir options. The goal is to strengthen the brand's positioning in the functional nutrition and wellness space.

The Girau brand, specializing in goat's milk products, also continues to develop. The yogurt range is expected to expand in the coming months, leveraging the natural digestibility of goat's milk and growing consumer interest in foods perceived as lighter and more functional.

The Cooperative's environmental commitment also extends to packaging reduction. The Cooperative has eliminated 7.700 kilograms of plastic from its fresh milk packaging and, thanks to a fleet largely comprised of low-emission vehicles and a pallet pooling system, avoids the emission of approximately 670 tons of carbon dioxide each year.

With 146 associated farms, 371 employees, and a fully controlled supply chain, Arborea aims to consolidate its presence on the national market through investment, innovation, and a focus on sustainability, while maintaining the focus on production and the quality of its brands.
