Coca-Cola HBC Italia is strengthening its senior management team and appointing Jakša Maganić to lead the Out of Home channel. The company, the leading manufacturer and distributor of Coca-Cola branded products in Italy, has announced the appointment of Maganić as Sales Director Out of Home, a strategic role that will see him reporting directly to Country Sales Director Maria Tindara Niosi.

The goal of this new role is to accelerate the transformation of the Ho.Re.Ca. (Hospitality) channel, further strengthening customer focus and seizing growth opportunities offered by the market. The Out-of-Home (Of-Home) channel is one of the most important areas for the company's business, encompassing bars, restaurants, hotels, and venues where consumers choose to consume beverages away from home.

Maganić brings over twenty years of experience within the Coca-Cola HBC Group. He joined the company in 2005 as a merchandiser and has since built a career path characterized by increasing commercial responsibilities. After holding leadership roles in sales and regional management, he rose to lead the Adria Business Unit, which includes Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia, as Country Sales Director.

During this experience, he contributed to the business's steady growth in terms of both volume and value, working to strengthen commercial capabilities, execution standards, and customer partnerships. The results achieved have led the Adria region's Out of Home channel to be considered a benchmark within the entire Coca-Cola HBC system.

With this appointment, Coca-Cola HBC Italia confirms its commitment to leveraging internal talent and the skills developed within the Group, focusing on international experience, innovation, and market proximity to support long-term sustainable growth.

The company employs approximately 2.000 people in Italy and operates six production facilities across the country. Three sites are dedicated to the production of soft drinks in Nogara, Oricola, and Marcianise, while the Rionero in Vulture and Roccaforte Mondovì plants specialize in bottling Fonti del Vulture and Lurisia mineral waters. A dedicated facility in Gaglianico produces recycled plastic preforms for bottling.

In recent years, Coca-Cola HBC Italia has expanded its positioning as a "Total Beverage Partner," offering a portfolio covering all consumption occasions, complementing its non-alcoholic beverages with a range of over 60 spirits. Maganić's appointment is part of this development strategy, aiming to strengthen relationships with customers and partners and further strengthen the company's presence in the Italian hospitality market.
