Diageo continues to restructure its brand portfolio and completes the divestment of Sheridan's, a historic two-layered liqueur based on coffee and cream, to the group Redondo House.
The transaction was finalized today and is part of a broader portfolio rationalization strategy, aimed at strengthening the focus on core brands and maximizing value creation for shareholders.

To support the change of ownership, the parties have signed a Transitional Services Agreement, designed to ensure operational continuity and a smooth business transition. The agreement will allow Casa Redondo to gradually integrate the brand into its structure, ensuring stability for production, distribution, and existing commercial relationships.

For Diageo, the sale of Sheridan's represents another step in an increasingly selective portfolio management policy. In recent years, the group has initiated a series of targeted divestments in Europe, aiming to focus investments and resources on brands with greater global scale and growth potential.

In this context we also find the previous operations which involved the sale of Pampero, Cacique e safari, brands no longer considered central to the group's strategic priorities.

The transaction confirms Diageo's disciplined approach to managing its portfolio in an increasingly competitive and polarized spirits market. At the same time, the acquisition offers Casa Redondo the opportunity to strengthen its international positioning, leveraging an iconic brand with strong recognition and a distinctive proposition in the spirits segment.

Overall, the transaction highlights how consolidation and specialization remain key levers in the strategies of major beverage players, combining asset optimization and capital reallocation toward higher-return areas.
