Etruria Retail closed 2025 with positive results and a profound strategic transformation that strengthens its role in large-scale retail distribution in Central Italy. The shareholders' meeting, held in Siena, approved a financial statement that highlights financial stability, the development of the sales network, and a significant reduction in debt.

The financial year closed with a net profit of €3,1 million, while invested capital reached €58,7 million and shareholders' equity stood at €48,7 million. The cooperative's financial position has significantly improved: net debt decreased from €24,2 million in 2024 to €10 million in 2025. The meeting also resolved to distribute €2,1 million in profits to members.

Revenues from sales and services reached €232 million, while the group's consolidated retail sales reached €450 million, confirming its ability to dominate the market in a context characterized by significant organizational changes.

Etruria Retail's sales network currently includes 305 stores across Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, and Liguria. Specifically, there are 229 stores in Tuscany, 52 in Umbria, 19 in Lazio, and 5 in Liguria. The operating brands are 35 Famila, 115 Super A&O, and 155 La Bottega Sapori & Valori.

The network's growth continued throughout 2025 with 15 new store openings, 9 new Bottega Sapori & Valori stores, and numerous modernization and redevelopment projects on existing facilities.

The past year, however, was above all a strategic turning point, represented by the agreement with Unicomm and the entry into the Selex group, signed on October 16, 2025, following the termination of the relationship with Carrefour. Between February and March 2026, the transition to the new Famila, Famila Market, and Super A&O brands was completed, with the conversion of all 305 stores in just 37 days—one of the most complex brand rebranding operations ever undertaken in Italian retail. After the close of the financial year, the development process continued with new openings in Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio, further strengthening the group's regional presence.

In terms of product categories, miscellaneous products account for 46,8% of turnover, followed by cured meats and dairy products at 25,2%, fruit and vegetables at 13,3%, meats at 9,5%, and frozen foods and fresh fish at 5,2%. Over half of sales are concentrated in the provinces of Grosseto, Siena, and Arezzo.

The group comprises five companies operating in retail and food service, with over 700 direct employees. Including entrepreneurs and collaborators, Etruria Retail provides employment to more than 3.000 people in Central Italy.

Among the most significant initiatives of recent months is the launch of "Flavours of Etruria", a project dedicated to promoting local products from Tuscany, Umbria, Upper Lazio, and the province of La Spezia, with a range of approximately 4.000 products.

"2025 was a year of transition that will remain etched in our memory," said General Manager Luca Migliolaro. "The brand change represented a strong identity choice, combining our ties to the local area with the strength of a national network like Selex. Now we're looking to new challenges, from artificial intelligence to growing competition, without losing the close relationship that has always characterized our approach to distribution."
