Heinz expands its sauce range with two new products dedicated to fried food lovers, targeting summer consumption and a category that continues to attract interest even in home cooking. The company introduces the new Spicy Chicken Sauce and Fish & Chips Sauce, designed to complement chicken, fish, and other crispy dishes with recipes developed to enhance their flavor.
The initiative is part of a market where fried foods are a key ingredient not only in restaurants but also in home kitchens, thanks to the growing popularity of air fryers. From terrace dinners to happy hours with friends, to quick meals, the search for condiments that enhance the eating experience is growing.
Heinz Spicy Chicken Sauce features a recipe based on tomato, paprika, and onion, enhanced with a light touch of chili pepper. The result is a sauce with a balanced flavor of sweet and spicy notes, designed to accompany all types of chicken, from wings to nuggets to fillets.
Heinz Fish & Chips Sauce features a creamy consistency, achieved with the addition of mustard and herbs. Designed for traditional fish & chips, it also works well as an accompaniment to mixed fried fish, calamari, shrimp, and fish fillets and chips. The recipe is also plant-based and vegan. With these new additions, Heinz consolidates its presence in the sauce segment, a category that has seen growing consumer interest in recent years thanks to the search for new combinations and increasingly specific flavors for different consumption occasions.
The two products were developed to offer a dedicated pairing for specific preparations, following a strategy aimed at specializing the offering and expanding the possibilities for use in the kitchen. The launch coincides with the start of summer, a time when there are more opportunities to enjoy informal meals shared with friends and family, both indoors and outdoors.
With these new offerings, the brand continues to innovate its portfolio, aiming to respond to evolving eating habits and new consumption patterns. Globally, The Kraft Heinz Company recorded net sales of approximately $26 billion in 2024 and continues to invest in developing its portfolio of food and beverage brands.
