A special gelato that combines flavor, solidarity, and social inclusion. This is the goal of the initiative launched by Sammontana, Esselunga, and PizzAut, who have formed a collaboration to concretely support the independence and professional integration of young people on the autism spectrum. The project features the new multipack of the Amando Cacao e Raspberry PizzAut ice cream bar, a special edition available exclusively at select Esselunga stores. Part of the Amando line, the product offers a vanilla gelato made with almond milk, enriched with a raspberry swirl, and topped with a crunchy layer of cocoa and Sicilian almond flakes.

The stick retains the distinctive characteristics of the Amando range: it is dairy-free, gluten-free, and made with 100% plant-based ingredients, thus meeting the needs of a public increasingly focused on sustainability, well-being, and food inclusivity. The most significant aspect of the initiative, however, is its social impact. For every pack purchased, Sammontana and Esselunga will donate a total of €1,50 to PizzAut. The funds raised will be used to fund the association's training activities and professional workshops, with the aim of facilitating the entry of autistic people into the workforce.

"We are proud to put our expertise in the gelato world to work for an extraordinary company like PizzAut. With Amando, we want to offer a product that's good for everyone, and this initiative allows us to extend the concept of goodness to social impact," said Paolo Malvaldi, marketing manager of Sammontana Gelato. Nico Acampora, founder of PizzAut, expressed his satisfaction, emphasizing the symbolic and tangible value of the initiative. "Every package purchased translates into real help for our children. The funds raised will allow us to strengthen the CasAutentica project and expand opportunities for independence, personal growth, and the development of interpersonal skills for autistic people."

The initiative represents an example of collaboration between the food industry, modern retail, and the third sector, demonstrating how a consumer product can become a tool to support social projects that generate value for the community. Through this partnership, Sammontana and Esselunga confirm their commitment to development models that combine product quality with a growing focus on inclusion and social responsibility, helping to create new opportunities for those involved in PizzAut projects.
