Starting in April, the new reduced-sugar jams from Le Conserve della Nonna, a Fini Group brand, will hit shelves. The brand aims to capture one of the most evident trends in consumer goods: the progressive reduction of sugar in the daily diet and the growth of the "light" segment. The new line offers recipes with 50% less sugar than the average of the best-selling jams on the market, without the use of sweeteners, and maintaining a positioning focused on naturalness and simplicity of ingredients.
The range consists of four flavors—Strawberry, Apricot, Wild Berry, and Peach—designed to address key consumer preferences, including more traditional flavors and more intense variations, and will be available in a 240-gram format. The launch is driven by a structural shift in purchasing behavior, with growing attention to nutritional labels and a growing demand for products with "no added sugar" or "low sugar" claims, already well-established in categories such as chocolate and confectionery and increasingly relevant in the jam sector.
In this context, Le Conserve della Nonna chooses to focus on a simple recipe: 70% Italian fruit and a short, clean list of ingredients, consisting exclusively of fruit and a reduced amount of sugar. The offering also stands out for its complete absence of sweeteners, a choice aimed at strengthening the product's perception of authenticity and differentiating it in a market where "light" reformulations often introduce substitute ingredients.
The positioning of the new line is therefore part of a broader strategy to meet emerging nutritional needs, balancing taste, naturalness, and health, without compromising on the quality of raw materials. From an industrial perspective, the launch represents a further development for the Fini Group, an Italian company controlled by Holding Carisma, which continues to invest in product innovation while maintaining a strong connection to tradition.
