Lidl Italia is reopening its supermarket at Via Brignani 22 in Lugo, in the province of Ravenna, after an expansion and modernization project that lasted just over six months. During this time, the store, closed since last January, underwent a complete renovation of its spaces and facilities.

The store, originally built in 2010, is now back in operation with a sales area of nearly 1.200 square meters, approximately 180 more than the previous configuration, and with a strengthened staff thanks to the creation of two new positions.

The supermarket will be open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Sunday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, offering customers larger spaces and a redesigned internal layout to make the various departments more accessible.

The project is part of Lidl Italia's program to expand and redevelop its national sales network and includes a series of technical solutions aimed at reducing the building's environmental impact, starting with energy efficiency improvements.

The expansion allowed for increased sales space and a reorganization of the offering, which includes a fresh produce section replenished daily, a bakery area, and a space dedicated to ready-to-eat products, along with the various food and non-food categories usually found in the brand's stores.

The assortment also includes vegetarian and vegan products from the Vemondo line, certified V-Label, alongside products offered periodically and the main own-brand lines developed by the group.

In addition to the food offering, the store also offers Parkside products for DIY and gardening, Crivit for sports, Silvercrest for small appliances, Livarno for the home, Lupilu for early childhood, and Esmara for clothing.

The supermarket's renovation also included electric mobility services and, more generally, infrastructure improvements, with the aim of adapting the building to the operational and environmental needs of the Lidl network.

Lidl Italy currently has a network of over 800 stores, supplied daily by 12 logistics platforms across the country, and employs a total of more than 23 people. The product range includes over 3.500 select items, approximately 80% of which are produced in Italy and sold primarily through the brand's own brands.
