The current CEO of Nespresso North America will take over the global leadership of the brand, bringing with him more than thirty years of experience within the Group.

Since January 2020, Gonzalez has led Nespresso's North American operations, which include the United States, Canada, and Mexico, successfully growing the Vertuo system by double digits and strengthening its market share. "Alfonso will be the new CEO of Nespresso and a member of the Group Executive Board. His experience in the portioned coffee category, combined with his results-driven approach and talent for motivating teams, will enable us to accelerate growth," said Philipp Navratil, CEO of Nestlé.

Gonzalez holds a degree in Business Administration in Marketing from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico. With his new appointment, Nestlé aims to consolidate Nespresso's global leadership and further develop its growth strategy.
