Grupo Nueva Pescanova closed 2025 with a return to profitability and began a new phase of development, marking a key milestone after years of recovery. The group closed the financial year with a net profit of €1,1 million, bringing its income statement back into positive territory. The results highlight a widespread improvement in economic and financial indicators, all growing and exceeding the business plan's expectations. Revenue reached €1.053,6 million, up 7,3% from €982 million in 2024, while EBITDA reached €71,2 million, a 56,5% jump from €45,5 million the previous year.

The performance is driven by both sales growth and the efficiency measures implemented over the past two years. Specifically, the group has revised its commercial strategy, focusing on higher value-added products, increased aquaculture productivity, and worked on process optimization and organizational development. Having surpassed its objectives, 2026 marks the beginning of a new phase, focused on development and investment. This path will also be supported by the ongoing optimization of the financial structure, a key element for strengthening competitiveness in the medium term.

“Thanks to a fully integrated supply chain and consolidated know-how, we are able to offer high-quality and customizable products” declared Chiara Olivieri, underlining the group's role as a partner of modern distribution.

Throughout 2025, Pescanova consolidated its position in Europe, maintaining a stable presence in consumer carts even in a more fragmented and price-sensitive market environment. At the same time, the group strengthened its commitment to ESG, aligning itself with the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and distinguishing itself through sustainable practices in marine resource management. Among these initiatives was the introduction of dual materiality analysis, which is increasingly central to corporate strategies.

On the innovation front, research and development continues with the launch of new products in the main seafood categories—from fresh fish to ready meals—and participation in European and international projects dedicated to the sector. The group has been present in Italy since 1989 and operates from its headquarters in Bologna, a market considered strategic for commercial development and for strengthening dialogue with large-scale retail trade.
