Pietro Coricelli strengthens its position in the cooking oil sector with the launch of a new line of seed oils designed to complement every aspect of culinary preparation. The range was created to enhance different cooking techniques and uses, offering consumers a specific product for every recipe, from frying to slow cooking to raw use. The project responds to the growing presence of seed oils in Italian families' eating habits, but also to the need to guide consumers in choosing the most suitable oil based on nutritional characteristics and cooking performance.
"Seed oils are increasingly present on Italian tables, but it's important to understand the characteristics of the different products to choose the one best suited to the dish being prepared and the cooking technique," explains Chiara Coricelli, CEO and President of Pietro Coricelli. "The new line was created with this very goal: to offer a complete range and showcase the different oils that can complement every preparation." The new offering comprises five varieties, each designed for a specific use. Sunflower seed oil is the most versatile option thanks to its delicate flavor and high smoke point, making it suitable for frying, sautéing, and baking, as well as being used raw.
For preparations requiring high temperatures, the line introduces Friggiamo, made from sunflower oil with a high oleic acid content and designed to ensure stability and yield in frying, while maintaining a balanced nutritional profile. Corn oil, on the other hand, is primarily intended for raw use: pale yellow in color and light in flavor, it lends itself to seasoning salads, vegetables, and cold dishes without overpowering the flavors of the ingredients.
Completing the range are peanut oil, ideal for deep frying and prolonged cooking thanks to its stability at high temperatures, and Viviamo, a blend combining avocado, grape seed, and sunflower oil, designed for those seeking a balance between lightness, flavor, and nutritional benefits. The new line also introduces a redesigned packaging. All products are available in one-liter PET bottles made from 100% recycled plastic, with an ergonomic shape designed to improve grip and facilitate use in the kitchen.
Each product is also identified by a distinctive color, consistent with the raw material, while the front of the package clearly indicates the recommended uses, with the aim of guiding consumers in choosing the most suitable oil for their preparation. The range is already available in major large-scale retail chains, strengthening the brand's presence on shelves and expanding the offering in the seed oil segment.
