Cesar is accelerating its expansion and approaching the 900-store mark in Italy and Spain, strengthening the Acqua & Sapone brand's presence both internationally and domestically. The company, active in non-food retail for home and personal care, has announced a new store opening in Madrid and the upcoming inauguration of a new store in Arrone, Umbria. This move confirms the group's growth strategy, which continues to invest in developing its retail network by leveraging proximity, assortment, and convenience—elements that have supported the brand's expansion into several markets in recent years.
The new Spanish store opened at Calle Alcalá 290, Madrid, marking the second urban store in the Spanish capital. The store spans over 300 square meters and offers more than 10 products covering home and personal care, cosmetics, baby care, and pet care. This opening brings the total number of Acqua & Sapone stores in Spain to nine, a market in which Cesar SpA is progressively strengthening its presence. The company emphasizes that its initiative in the country is generating positive consumer response, a factor that supports the plan for further openings planned in the coming months, both in urban areas and in strategic commercial locations.
Alongside its international expansion, the group continues to invest in Italy. The next opening will be in Arrone, in the province of Terni, where a new Acqua & Sapone store will be built in the heart of the Valnerina valley, a short distance from the Marmore Falls. The store will be the 883rd in the Cesar SpA network and the 33rd in Umbria, further consolidating the brand's territorial coverage in the region. The goal is to strengthen local presence and maintain ongoing relationships with customers, including through the Carta Club loyalty program, considered a key element of the group's commercial strategy. The choice of Arrone is part of a development strategy that targets not only large urban centers, but also areas with a strong local identity and a stable presence of residents and tourists. With these new openings, Cesar SpA confirms a growth model that combines consolidation of the Italian network with international expansion, in an increasingly competitive and proximity-oriented drugstore and personal care market.
