Action is expanding its Italian network with the opening of its first store in the city of Foggia, a significant addition that strengthens the group's presence in southern Italy. The store, inaugurated on Saturday, December 13, is the first in the Foggia province and the eighth in Puglia, bringing the total number of Action stores nationwide to 204.
The Foggia opening is part of a year of strong expansion for the non-food discount chain, which opened 73 new stores in Italy in 2025. This growth rate confirms the group's interest in the Italian market and in urban and provincial areas, which are still underserved.
The new store spans 894 square meters and was designed to offer a simple and functional shopping experience. The opening of the store has also had a positive impact on local employment, with the addition of 19 new employees to the team.
Inside the store, customers can find the "Formula Action" range, which offers a selection of approximately 6.000 items across 14 product categories: from household and DIY products to toys, crafts, gardening, and a selection of food. The selection is constantly updated, with approximately 150 new products added each week, and maintains a highly competitive price positioning: over two-thirds of the items cost less than €2.

Alongside the expansion of its sales network, Action continues its commitment to sustainability. The company is reducing the environmental impact of its operations through structural decisions, such as eliminating gas connections in stores and exclusively using LED lighting, as well as increasingly stringent supplier selection criteria.
Particular attention is also paid to materials: the cotton used in branded products comes from sustainable sources, the wood is FSC or PEFC certified, and the cocoa used in Action products is Fairtrade certified.
The store on Via Camporeale is open Monday to Saturday from 8:45 am to 8:30 pm and on Sundays from 9 am to 8 pm. With the opening in Foggia, Action consolidates its presence in Puglia and confirms its growth strategy in Italian non-food discount retail.
