Action, a European non-food discount chain, continues its expansion in Italy with the opening of its first store in Casoria, in the province of Naples. The new store, located in Via Ventotene, brings the total number of stores nationwide to 153. With a surface area of over 834 square meters and a team of 20 collaborators, the store will be open from May 17, every day with continuous hours.
The “Formula Action” includes an assortment of 6.000 products in 14 product categories – from household goods to gardening, from DIY to toys – with more than two-thirds of the items priced at less than 2 euros. Every week, 150 new products are introduced, for a dynamic and accessible offer.
“We are happy to land in Casoria, bringing us even closer to our Italian customers,” said Philippe Levisse, General Manager of Action Italia, underlining the group’s commitment to convenience, quality and sustainability.
In line with its environmental goals, Action has eliminated gas in its stores and uses only LED lighting. The company uses certified raw materials: 100% of the wood comes from sustainable forests (FSC or PEFC), the cotton is traced through Better Cotton or organic, and the cocoa in its branded products is entirely Fairtrade certified.
