The new Board of Directors has been appointed Altasfera Italy, the company operating in the Cash & Carry channel, the result of an agreement between Ergon, Maiora and Centro Cash (a company of the ABBI Group), with the aim of becoming a national point of reference for professional operators in the food and retail sectors.
The administrative body is composed of Francis Of Nardo (President) George Annis (Councillor) and Massimiliano Cioffi (Councilor).
The mandate entrusted by the Altasfera Italia Members to the board is focused on the development of strategic lines for the three-year period 2024 – 2027. Among the main directives stands out the definition of a common Cash & Carry model that, both towards suppliers and customers, enhances its roots in the territories and the centrality of AFH as a privileged target of Altasfera.
The common strategic objective is the implementation of a process that, over time, will transform Altasfera from a brand/sign of wholesale sales structures into a reference “brand” in the B2B world at a national level, placing the Italian nature of the network and its partners at the centre.
Altasfera Italia aims to develop a MDD range consistent with the concepts of service, innovation and exaltation of Italian style in the “horeca” world, which includes the creation of at least 1.000 references by the end of 2025.
“Laying the foundations for an ever-increasing connection between the Altasfera teams distributed between the regional offices and the national headquarters will be one of the main tasks of the Board of Directors and to this end we will work quickly to complete the headquarters team. The development of our brands will be one of the pillars of the project but our goal for the next 3 years is much more ambitious because the definition of a single, coherent and identifying business model that fully involves all members and partners will be the strategic trajectory that will mainly engage this Board of Directors.”
Francis of Nardo
