ICAME, a leading family company in the production and marketing of chocolate and semi-finished cocoa products, has announced a significant generational change at the top.
During the Annual Shareholders' Meeting on June 28, the composition of the Board of Directors was renewed, with theinclusion of members of the third generation of the Agostoni family. John, Sarah and Luca Agostoni, already active in the company and with specific skills in their respective fields, have been appointed new councilors for the three-year period 2024/2026.
Adelio Crippa, with a long experience as General Manager and a deep knowledge of the company's values, will assume the role of CEO. The Board of Directors is completed by three external experts reconfirmed for their expertise in economics, jurisprudence and the international cocoa market.
The Assembly also proposed Angel Agostoni, outgoing President, as Honorary President. This role, provided for by the company statute, recognizes Angelo's significant contribution to the development of ICAME, allowing the company to benefit from its expertise without the day-to-day operational responsibilities.
John Agostoni, who has already distinguished himself as Global Sales & Marketing Director, will take on the role office of President. He was given the legal representation of the company, thus consolidating the presence of the third generation of the family at the helm of ICAM.
