Carlsberg Group, present in Italy with Birrificio Angelo Poretti since 1877, closed 2024 with profits of 9,12 billion crowns (1,22 billion euros), confirming a solid performance despite challenges in some of its main markets. Adjusted operating profit rose to 11,4 billion crowns, with revenues increasing by 2%, reaching approximately 75 billion crowns. The group recorded significant growth in the premium beer segment (+2%) and in alcohol-free (+6%), with positive performances also for the international brands: Tuborg (+5%), Carlsberg (+9%), Blanc 1664 (+6%) and Brooklyn (+5%).

Jacob Aarup-Andersen, Chief Executive Officer of Carlsberg, commented on the results, highlighting the importance of the launch of the “Accelerate SAIL” strategy, which aims for long-term sustainable growth. Key initiatives of the year included the acquisition of Britvic, the expansion of the partnership with PepsiCo and the buyout of the partner in India and Nepal.

Despite a challenging environment in some markets, Carlsberg is pleased with the solid results and the internal training program launched to support growth ambitions. For 2025, the group expects organic operating profit growth of between 1% and 5%.
