Cartonpack Group, leader in the multi-material food packaging sector, has acquired the majority shares of Fimat, a company with a consolidated reputation in the food industry market as a reliable and highly specialized partner in printing and production technologies for cardboard packaging, based in Boffalora sopra Ticino (Milan).
Fimat will further expand the Group's portfolio of cardboard packaging solutions and consolidate its industrial presence in Northern Italy, where Cartonpack has shown strong growth, while strengthening its presence in international markets such as France and Germany.
This acquisition represents a further step forward in the expansion and diversification strategy of the Apulian company, consolidating the expansion in the European market of recent years, which has seen a series of acquisitions started in 2020, under the guidance of the founding family and the support of the investment fund A&M Capital Europe (AMCE), allowing the Group to reach a turnover of 200 million euros in 2024.
