Cibus Nordic Real Estate has acquired 34 grocery stores in Scandinavia in separate deals worth €127,2 million.
The company has reached an agreement with ATP Ejendomme to purchase a portfolio of 31 grocery stores across Denmark for approximately €118 million. As part of the deal, 22 stores will be acquired immediately, with the remaining nine in early February 2025.
Cibus Nordic has also acquired two grocery stores in Sweden (in Bollnäs and Habo) and one in Norway (in Randaberg) with a leasable area of 6.900 square meters and a total real estate value of 9,2 million euros.
The company currently owns a portfolio of over 450 food-related properties across the Nordic region, leased to major retailers such as Kesko, Tokmanni, Coop Sweden, S Group, Dagrofa and Lidl.
Furthermore, Cibus confirmed that it is in talks to acquire Forum Estates, a Benelux-based food property owner whose tenant portfolio includes major supermarket chains such as Carrefour, Jumbo, SPAR Colruyt, Lidl and Albert Heijn.
