Costco continues to strengthen its growth trajectory in the global wholesale distribution market. The U.S. group closed the second quarter of its fiscal year 2026, which ended February 15, with significant increases in both sales and profitability.
Over the twelve-week period, net sales reached 68,24 billion dollars, recording an increase of 9,1 % compared to 62,53 billion of the same quarter of the previous year. From a retail network perspective, Costco continues to expand its global presence. The company currently operates 924 warehouses in the world, of which 634 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 114 in Canada, 42 in Mexico, 37 in Japan e 29 in the UK, as well as numerous outlets in Asia, Europe and Oceania.
At the same time, the group maintains a strong presence in e-commerce, with operating platforms in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.
