To prevent criminal infiltration in large-scale retail trade and ensure a transparent and safe market, CRAI Secom SpA Società Benefit has signed a Legality Framework Protocol with the Ministry of the Interior. The agreement includes concrete measures to strengthen legality and freedom of enterprise in the sector.
Under the agreement, CRAI and its distribution centers (Cedi) will adopt rigorous criteria for the selection of suppliers, imposing specific contractual clauses to ensure transparency and financial traceability. In case of violations, the contracts may be terminated. Training initiatives are also planned to spread the culture of legality among employees.
The Ministry of the Interior, through the prefectures, will promote adherence to the protocol on a local scale, adapting it to territorial specificities. Furthermore, in collaboration with the police forces, the criminal phenomena that threaten the sector will be analyzed.
The agreement, signed by Prefect Carmen Perrotta and CRAI CEO Giangiacomo Ibba, will last three years, with constant monitoring to ensure its effectiveness. Ibba emphasized that for CRAI, the signature represents a concrete commitment to protecting customers and employees, reiterating the importance of transparency as a guiding value of the company.
With this initiative, CRAI establishes itself as the first group in the Large-Scale Retail Trade to undertake a structured path towards legality, laying the foundations for a healthy and safe development of the market.
