The group Lindt & Sprüngli Swisscom S.p.A. closed 2025 with solid organic growth, confirming the resilience of its premium model in a complex and highly volatile macroeconomic environment. In a year marked by geopolitical uncertainty, inflation, and unprecedented cocoa costs, the Swiss group achieved organic growth of 12,4%, bringing revenue to 5,92 billion Swiss francs.
Sales in francs increased by 8,2%, penalized by a negative exchange rate effect of 3,9%, while double-digit price increases offset the impact of raw materials.
The performance was supported by the global trend toward premiumization, successful product innovations, and the expansion of the direct retail channel. Despite cautious consumption, Lindt & Sprüngli managed to grow above the market average, strengthening its share. Consumers continued to "upscale," prioritizing quality and experience. "People seek quality and small moments of pleasure: as a premium brand, we respond to this need," emphasized Adalbert Lechner, CEO of the group.
In geographical detail, Europe recorded organic growth of 15,3%, reaching 2,96 billion francs. All European subsidiaries posted double-digit growth, with peaks exceeding 20% in Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, the Nordics, Spain, and Portugal. The Excellence and Lindor lines, as well as seasonal products such as Gold Bunny and Teddy, were the driving forces. North America closed the year with organic growth of 8,9% to 2,18 billion francs, accelerating to 11,9% in the second half. Key performances included Lindor and Excellence, as well as the global launch of Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate, which also included the Ghirardelli and Russell Stover brands. The Rest of the World posted an 11,7% increase, reaching 780 million francs, with excellent results in Japan, Brazil, South Africa, China, and Chile. In 2025, the group opened the first six stores in its new Chilean subsidiary.
Global Retail achieved record growth, up 20,8% thanks to organic growth and the expansion of the network, which now comprises approximately 620 single-brand stores and 21 e-shops. Innovation remains a strategic pillar, with Dubai Style Chocolate being the year's key launch, featuring bars, pralines, and new flavors. The portfolio was also expanded with new Lindor products and the global rollout of Excellence Pistachio. Looking ahead, the group expects EBIT margin to improve in the low 20–40 basis points range for 2025. For 2026 and beyond, Lindt & Sprüngli confirms its target of organic growth of 6% to 8% annually, with a progressive strengthening of profitability.
