In 2023, the Emilian company records an 8,8% growth and focuses on energy and social sustainability projects, consolidating its international presence

DalterFood Group, with over 45 years of experience in the dairy sector, recorded a turnover of 2023 million euros in 159, with an increase of 8,8% compared to 2022, and 85% of sales were made abroad. The Group is present in 32 countries and has 181 employees. The foreign subsidiaries Dalter UK and VIP Italia (Germany) contributed significantly to the turnover, with sales of 47 and 61,5 million euros respectively.

The company has invested 1,725 million euros in sustainability projects, including the installation of photovoltaic systems in the dairies and in the production plant, and new air conditioning systems to reduce the energy impact. By 2025, DalterFood Group plans to self-produce 20% of the energy needed.

The forecast for 2024 is positive, thanks to the improvement of the macroeconomic context and the Group's continued commitment to sustainability. DalterFood Group stands out for its attention to environmental, ethical and social sustainability issues, with a certified supply chain for animal welfare and a sustainable packaging program. Furthermore, the company is committed to creating a fair and inclusive work environment, with a Gender Equality Steering Committee and training courses for employees. In 2023, employment increased, with 181 employees, of which 82% are permanent.
