DalterFood Group closed 2025 with record revenues of €200 million, 86% of which was generated in international markets, consolidating its international presence and continuing its investments in environmental sustainability and organizational development. This is according to the fifth edition of its Sustainability Report, which for the first time was independently audited by Deloitte & Touche, with the aim of strengthening the reliability of the economic, social, and environmental data reported.
The Emilia-based group, specializing in the production, cutting, and packaging of cheese, operates in 29 countries and serves approximately 1.500 professional customers in the food industry, modern retail, and restaurants. International growth is supported by sales subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and Germany, which were joined in February 2026 by the French company For Food France, acquired to strengthen its presence in the French market.
Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, produced in the group's two dairies, continues to play a key role, reaching a record average of 250 wheels per day in 2025. On the environmental front, the fully operational photovoltaic systems at the three production facilities have enabled the company to self-produce 20% of its electricity consumption, while overall demand has increased by 8%, reaching 14.712 gigajoules, as a result of increased production.
Direct emissions increased by approximately 5%, while indirect emissions related to purchased energy, calculated using the location-based method, decreased by 14%. Scope 3 emissions, attributable to the value chain, also increased by 6%, reaching 264.396 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent. The purchased goods and services category accounted for 70,73% of total emissions.
In terms of employment, DalterFood Group reached 202 employees, up from 189 the previous year, with 92,6% of them on permanent contracts. There were 33 new hires, while the average hours of training per employee rose to 32, an increase of 18,5%.
"Exceeding €200 million in revenue demonstrates the strength of our development path, while the growth in our workforce, which has reached 202 employees, reflects an organization that evolves alongside the business and continues to invest in its people and expertise," said General Manager Antonio Gizzi.
The report also highlights the group's relationship with the agricultural supply chain in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, where it collaborates with 52 farmers who collectively deliver over 110 liters of milk per day. Finally, developments in 2026 include the validation of climate targets by the Science Based Targets initiative, which call for a 54,6% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and some key Scope 3 categories by 2033, compared to 2023 levels.
