Despar Nord continues to grow in Veneto and further strengthens its presence in the region, closing 2025 with retail revenues exceeding €999 million, up 1,49% from the previous year. This result is supported by a significant investment plan and a strategy focused on both strengthening the sales network and promoting local products.

Over the course of the year, the Despar, Eurospar, and Interspar brand concessionaire allocated over €24,5 million to the Veneto region, investing in renovations, technological upgrades, and the strengthening of seven directly operated and affiliated stores in the provinces of Padua, Verona, Vicenza, Treviso, and Belluno. Two new affiliated stores were opened in Venice and Rovigo.

The regional network currently comprises a total of 155 stores, including 81 directly operated stores and 74 affiliated stores, confirming the strategic role of the affiliation model in the group's development in the Veneto region.

The network's growth has also had an impact on employment. In 2025, Despar Nord recorded 324 new hires and contract stabilizations, bringing the total number of active employees in the region to 4.287.

"We are objectively satisfied and encouraged by the closing figures for the past financial year," stated Francesco Montalvo, CEO of Despar Nord, "thanks to an investment plan that has consolidated the brand's regional presence and fostered new employment and social development in the areas where we operate."

Montalvo also emphasized the crucial contribution of affiliated entrepreneurs, who increased their retail sales by 4,85% in 2025 compared to the previous year, confirming the growing importance of affiliation within the group's distribution network.

One of the cornerstones of Despar Nord's strategy remains its relationship with the Veneto agri-food sector. Through the "Flavors of the Territory" project, dedicated to promoting short supply chains and local producers, the group has doubled its involvement with artisanal food micro-businesses present on the shelves of regional stores.

In fact, 81 micro-businesses have been involved, and together with 41 regional producers, they now offer over 1.082 products from the Veneto region. This selection aims to enhance the biodiversity of local production and agri-food traditions.

Throughout the year, the project was accompanied by events, tastings, guided tours, and initiatives dedicated to promoting the Veneto region's excellent food and wine products.

At the same time, Despar Nord has also confirmed its social commitment, investing over €160 to support charitable, cultural, and social inclusion initiatives. Among the initiatives supported are projects with the Vite Vere Down Dadi cooperative, campaigns against gender violence promoted in conjunction with the State Police, and educational programs dedicated to environmental sustainability in schools.

The "Good Habits" program, dedicated to healthy eating in primary schools, continues, involving 528 teachers in the Veneto region alone. Through the "Stickermania" and "Scuolafacendo" projects, the group has allocated over €170 to purchase teaching materials and equipment for nearly 900 schools in the area.
