From the 11th to the 14th of May, Milan will become the global epicenter of food and retail with a new edition of TuttoFood, an international platform that will bring together more than 5.000 exhibiting companies, distributed on more than 10 banners, and thousands of leading companies from Europe, Asia and, each time, more, from Latin America.

In a global context marked by geopolitical tensions, inflationary pressure and profound changes in consumer habits, TuttoFood is not just a holiday: it is a space where the dynamics of the market are interpreted and strategic relationships are built.

And it is precisely in this scenario where one of the most relevant moments of the program arises:
“Two Worlds, One Direction”.

One of the most relevant people of the event will be the CCO of Lidl Italia, who will explain the Lidl model: efficiency, training and customer center.
Gianfranco Marc Brunetti, Chief Customer Officer Italy of Lidl Italia, will provide a concrete reading on one of the most effective models in European retail: the discounter Lidl Italia.

Based on your experience, you will analyze how Lidl has built a format capable of combining operational efficiency, damage control, price centrality and increased quality.
A model that has redefined the concept of convenience and which now represents a reference not only in Europe, but also for markets in the expansion of Latin America.

A bridge between Italy and Latin America

In this context the program was born Italy–Latin America | Cibus Link Hall, conceived with a clear objective: to create a real environment between the Italian industry and the large Latin American retail groups.

It's not just about generating networking, but rather about building a strategic exchange space where you can share visions, models and concrete development opportunities.

The central moment will be, precisely, the conference
“Two Worlds, One Direction: the evolution of retail between Europe and Latin America”,
which will be celebrated on the 13th of May at 10:00.

Global retail is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the evolution of consumer behaviour, the growing importance of price, the development of private brands and the redefinition of sales formats.

Europe and Latin America now represent two complementary laboratories: on the one hand, hard markets, efficient and structured; Furthermore, dynamic and growing markets, where formats such as the hard discount are accelerating the transformation of the sector.

The conference will bring together experiences, strategies and data to generate a dialogue between retailers, industry and analysts from both continents. Through insights and real cases, it will offer a clear vision of the main trends, convergences and opportunities.

The voices of change

In this scenario there will be leaders who are leading this evolution in the first place:

  • Nahuel Pianarosa, Director Commercial of Grupo Vierci
  • Francisco De La Roza, CEO of Supermercados Peruanos
  • Sebastian Ruiz Abella, Director Commercial of Grupo Ísimo

Three complementary visions that will allow you to understand how retail in Latin America is transforming, from the inside out.

From analysis to practice: inside the areas

The program will continue on May 14th at 9:30 am with a exclusive store tour, translating the strategic analysis to the operational terrain.

The visit will include lessons on clubs as well Lidl, Esselunga, Coop, Conad and Iper La Grande I, with a focus centered on the layout and organization of the sales point, the pricing strategies, the development of the private brand, the productivity, the KPIs and the customer experience.

During the course, concrete decisions will be analyzed in the field and their direct impact on economic results.
The objective is clear: identify good replicable practices and understand the strategic logics beyond each format.

Apply now and make sure you are dark in the room.
