Growing exports, the integration of Parmacotto, and an expansion strategy targeting international markets are propelling GranTerre toward a new record. The Emilia-based agri-food group closed 2025 with a turnover of €1,866 billion, an 11,8% increase. The Granterre Consortium approved a financial statement that will allow for the redistribution of over €3 million in dividends and rebates to contributing members, confirming the strength of the cooperative model that represents one of the leading Italian Parmigiano Reggiano supply chains.
The Granterre Consortium's shareholders' meeting, held in Modena, approved the 2025 financial statements and confirmed Enrico Manni as president for the next three years, along with vice president Kristian Minelli. The consortium, which comprises 706 contributing members and controls the GranTerre Group, posted revenues of €339,2 million and a net profit of €4,6 million, with shareholders' equity rising to €150,1 million. These results allowed the distribution of €3,026 million to members in dividends and refunds on contributions, in addition to the payments already paid during the year. On the mutualistic front, member-led activities accounted for 94,67% of the total, while the number of Parmigiano Reggiano wheels contributed in 2025 exceeded 522.
The GranTerre Group, which controls Caseifici GranTerre and Salumifici GranTerre and encompasses brands such as Parmareggio, Parmacotto, Casa Modena, Senfter, Agriform, Alcisa, Teneroni, and LiberaMente, was the primary driver of this performance. International sales reached €584 million, up 15,4%, confirming the increasingly central role of international markets in the group's development. Caseifici GranTerre closed the year with revenues of €945,5 million, up 14,8%, and exports grew 18,4% to €328,3 million. Salumifici GranTerre, on the other hand, achieved a turnover of €987,3 million, up 9,4%, with international sales rising to €273,3 million (+12,6%).
Among the strategic transactions planned for 2025, the business combination between Salumifici GranTerre and Parmacotto stands out, creating one of Italy's leading brands of cured meats, cooked hams, and ready-made meals. During the same period, the group also acquired 40% of the Spanish company Hispano Italiana de Charcuteria, strengthening its presence in the Iberian market. A further step in its growth will come in 2026 with the entry of the Enpaia Foundation into GranTerre's capital. The agricultural pension fund will invest €10 million in the parent company, supporting future development programs related to international expansion, digitalization, and strengthening marketing and brand promotion activities.
As President Enrico Manni emphasized, the results achieved confirm the cooperative model's ability to generate value along the entire agri-food supply chain. This solid foundation is the basis from which the group intends to build upon in 2026, which promises to be a challenging geopolitical year, but which GranTerre is confident about thanks to its industrial growth and growing presence in foreign markets.
