Ferrero Italia closed the financial year ending August 31, 2024 with a turnover of 1,8 billion, up 3,5% compared to the previous year and a profit of 57 million euros (it was 53,2 on August 31, 2023). The centrality of Italy in terms of industrial development was confirmed with an additional 98 million euros of investments in the year in the four production hubs (Alba, Pozzuolo Martesana, Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi and Balvano) and an increase in the workforce to 7.004 units, 77 more (+1,1%).
Over the last ten years of activity and in the national perimeter alone, industrial investments made by the Ferrero group in the territory have reached 1,4 billion euros. The parent company has appointed the board of directors: alongside Bartolomeo Salomone, confirmed as president, there are Fabrizio Gavelli, Massimo Micieli, Gian Mauro Perrone, Gian Luca Bassi and Matteo Ravera. Driving the sales of the year are Kinder Kinderini biscuits, Nutella Gelato and Nutella Croissant.
Ferrero has also confirmed itself as the company with the best reputation in Italy, according to the survey drawn up annually by The RepTrak Company, and has also been included for the first time in the ranking of “Best ESG Company”, the index that measures citizens' perception of companies that are most attentive to sustainable development.
