GMF, a company of the Unicomm Group of Vicenza (associated with Selex Gruppo Commerciale) has inaugurated a new EMI supermarket in Umbertide (PG) in Strada Tiberina 3 Bis, a sustainable building constructed without land consumption, as it is an urban regeneration project; in fact, it was built in the area of the former Molino Popolare and will continue to house the main building dating back to the 50s.
On a total surface area of 11245 m2500 in a building of 1.500 m32 and a sales area of 9 m4, 100 collaborators will work with XNUMX cash registers, XNUMX of which are self-scanning. The supermarket will have over XNUMX parking spaces available and will also be at the forefront in terms of energy efficiency criteria as it is equipped with a photovoltaic system capable of substantially reducing electricity withdrawal from the public grid.
In the new EMI supermarket in Umbertide, a new generation compactor for the recovery of food grade PET plastic will be operational. The project was carried out in collaboration with Coripet.
One of the distinctive elements of Emi stores are the departments, in particular the served counters of meat, fish, delicatessen with qualified staff ready to serve pizza by the slice and self-service bread baked hot all day. A large space will then be dedicated to the world of health, with gluten-free dietary products, meal replacements, "free from" (lactose-free, sugar-free, etc.), the cellar, with over 500 labels of wines and beers, up to pet food.
