It was a record year for Grupo Consorcio, which in 2024 posted record revenue of over 78 million euros, a 12,2% increase over the previous year. Net profit quadrupled, reaching 1,59 million euros, while operating profit grew 650%, a tangible sign of the company's strategy to improve profitability.
Exports now account for 59% of turnover, with sales in 42 countries and a presence on all five continents. The expansion of production facilities in Spain and Peru and the opening of a new independent subsidiary in Milan have been crucial to this.
Italy, in particular, has proven to be a strategic market: in the first year of direct management, sales volumes increased by 37%, with excellent performances in both premium tuna and Cantabrian anchovies. In the latter segment, Consorcio saw sales grow by 27% in volume and 36% in value, gaining 2,5 percentage points in market share.
With over 900 employees, 66% of whom are women, the Group looks to the future with confidence. "These results encourage us to continue expanding our brand while maintaining our values of tradition and excellence," said CEO Jesús Gómez.
