Il Supercentro Group closed the fiscal year with a total turnover of 257 million euros, marking a 5% increase compared to the previous year. Consolidated EBITDA stood at 6,2 million euros. This result is indicative of the success of the ongoing industrial plan, which has led to significant investments in the distribution network and in strengthening consumer purchasing power.
Expansion and strategic investments
Currently, the Group operates mainly in southern Italy, covering the regions of Puglia, Calabria and Basilicata with the brands Sisa, Ipersisa and QuickSisa. Recently, it introduced the new cash & carry format called Wiva, inaugurating the first stores in 2024.
During the year, the Group plans to invest approximately 13 million euros in several strategic areas. The main investments will be oriented towards:
- Expansion and restructuring of the existing network
- Acquisition of new properties
- Updating stores in compliance with environmental sustainability and energy efficiency standards
Future projects and sustainability
For 2024, several key projects are planned to be completed:
- The opening of the new cash & carry in San Giorgio Jonico
- The acquisition of additional properties, including a cash & carry in the province of Bari and a distribution center in Surbo (Lecce)
- The inauguration of three new stores and the renovation of four existing stores
In parallel, the Group will continue to implement consumer-friendly pricing strategies, with the intention of further reducing the profit margin by 1%, after a reduction of two percentage points already achieved in 2023. This effort aims to keep prices low, providing a competitive advantage and supporting customers' purchasing power.
