Iceland Foods has partnered with investment firm Skel to distribute its products in the Nordics. Specifically, the British frozen food retailer has created a joint venture, called Ice JV ehf, to sell in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
The operation has the additional objective of exploring the potential for opening retail stores, once the products have gained a foothold on the market.
“This is a region where little or nothing is known about quality frozen foods and through our partnership with Ice JV ehf, we will be able to build a strong wholesale base, which will expand our reach to new customers and showcase the power of Frozen throughout the region.”
