Ekom Discount has completed the renovation of its historic store in Nervi, which has now gone from being an affiliated store to being directly owned. The intervention aims to improve the offer for customers, ensuring quality products, local specialties and convenience. Ekom Channel Director, Giuseppe Marotta, underlined the importance of this transformation, which included significant investments and the integration of staff from the previous management.
The renovated store of about 500 square meters has a modern and functional layout, with key departments such as fruit and vegetables, self-service fresh bread, butcher's shop and served cutting counter. The store is open every day of the week, with extensive hours that facilitate customer access.
Marotta also highlighted the new format designed to improve the shopping experience and guarantee the freshness of the products thanks to local partners Ghigliotti for the butcher's shop and Ortobra for the fruit and vegetables. In addition, the store offers a convenient underground parking and uses sustainable solutions such as low-emission counters and LED lighting to reduce the environmental impact.
