Valsoia closed the first half of 2025 with growing results, confirming the solidity of its business model. Consolidated revenues as of June 30 stood at €59,39 million, up 2,3% compared to the same period in 2024. This figure reflects both the strength of the domestic market (+1,5%) and the acceleration of international sales, which increased by 10,2%.
The second quarter was particularly dynamic, with revenues increasing more than 5%: +3,8% in Italy and a 31,6% jump abroad. The company emphasizes that, despite remaining cautious domestic consumption, major brands showed an increase in value (+1,9%) despite slightly declining volumes (-0,3%). On the earnings front, EBITDA reached €7,13 million (+1,9%), with a margin of 12%, stable compared to 2024. Net profit stood at €4,23 million (+3,3%), equal to 7,1% of revenues.
The adjusted net financial position is positive at €20,15 million, down from €28,43 million at the end of 2024, partly due to investments in the Serravalle Sesia plant, which is expected to double its production capacity by 2026. The Food division is driving growth, up 8%, thanks primarily to Loriana piadina, Diete.Tic, and the strong performance of Santa Rosa jams and cereals. The Health division, however, is impacted by the decline in yogurt and desserts.
President Lorenzo Sassoli de Bianchi expressed satisfaction with the performance: "We've made progress even in the face of a challenging competitive landscape and increasing promotional pressure." In particular, Valsoia plant-based ice cream maintained its market leadership with a share close to 80%. "We're continuing to invest in communications and direct consumer engagement," Sassoli added, "to strengthen brand equity and support international growth."
