KFC continues to strengthen its presence in Italy and adds a new piece to its expansion strategy in Central Italy. On November 20th, it opens its first restaurant in the Marche region, inside the "Il Cuore Adriatico" shopping center in Civitanova, bringing the number of regions currently covered by the brand to 17 and the total number of stores in the country to 139.

The new opening—operated under a franchise agreement with DCNAM Marche srl—creates 20 new jobs and confirms the centrality of the franchising model in the national development plan. "The contribution of local entrepreneurs is essential to accelerate growth," said Corrado Cagnola, CEO of KFC Italy, reiterating the goal of reaching 200 restaurants by 2027 and thus completing its presence in all Italian regions.

The store is located within the mall's food court, boasting a 320-square-meter space with 182 seats, and extended hours until 23 p.m. on weekends. The company continues to enhance its omnichannel experience: checkout ordering, digital kiosks, and the KFC Italia app with a "Click & Collect" feature, as well as drive-thru and delivery options.

On the product front, the restaurant offers the entire KFC portfolio: from the iconic Chicken On the Bone to Hot Wings, from Crispy Tender to Original Recipe variants. Highlights include the NOggets, a KFC exclusive in Europe, and the burger range featuring the Classic Original, Zinger, Colonel's Burger, and double fillet options. The Veggie line, based on mushroom protein, is also available, with sandwiches and Tender options also available in buckets.

The offering is rounded out with chips, salads, side dishes, and Bucket sizes for 1, 2, or 3 people, as well as the Box Meal range, designed for multiple combinations in medium or large portions. A free refill service for drinks is also available.

With this new opening, KFC further consolidates its presence in shopping centers and confirms the role of the franchising channel as a key lever for expansion, especially in Central and Southern Italy.
