Kentucky Fried Chicken strengthens its presence in the travel channel with two new strategic openings. On July 3, the brand inaugurated its first restaurant in the center of Florence, inside the Santa Maria Novella station, and at the same time a new point of sale at Milan Bergamo Airport, the second Italian airport served by the brand after Fiumicino.
In Florence, the new KFC occupies a central location in Largo Fratelli Alinari, in one of Italy's main train stations, crossed by over 45 travelers a day. The location, with 100 seats and take-away and delivery services, has created 35 new jobs and represents the sixth Tuscan brand. It is designed to offer a fast and omnichannel experience, with digital kiosks, apps and walk-thru service.
In Bergamo, the restaurant is located in the arrivals area, near the connection with the OrioCenter, and has 200 square meters inside and 100 outside, with 100 seats. It will be open every day from 5.30:22.30 to 25:17, and employs XNUMX people. The opening in the airport with XNUMX million passengers a year strengthens KFC's presence in the airport segment.
