KoRo, a European “better-for-you” snack and food brand, has completed a Series C investment round raising €35 million. The round was led by Coefficient Capital, with participation from existing investors Five Seasons Ventures and HV Capital. The funds will enable KoRo to accelerate growth, innovate in its products and strengthen its presence in Europe, focusing on Italy, France and Benelux.
With over 2 million customers and a B-Corp™ certification, KoRo is recognized as a leader in the snacking industry. Former Oatly CEO Toni Petersson champions the company’s omnichannel model as a key to long-term growth and customer engagement.
Despite a challenging environment for tech-based companies, KoRo has shown solid results: 50% annual growth, break-even operations and distribution in 13.000 stores including Edeka, Rewe, Albert Heijn and Esselunga. Investor confidence confirms the validity of the business model and the potential for international expansion.
In Italy, the brand is growing 50% year-on-year, with further developments expected in the large-scale retail channel and in the consolidation of e-commerce. The company plans important launches for 2025, strengthening the connection with the community through offline events and activations, such as the potential launch of a KoRo Café inspired by the success of the format in Berlin.
