The growth plan of La Piadineria, the largest Italian fast food chain, continues with momentum, having surpassed 475 locations throughout the country. The company, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Montirone (BS), has accelerated its development in Southern Italy, with numerous new openings in Campania, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily.

Since last December, stores have been opened in the provinces of Naples (two), Cagliari, Taranto, Bari, Nuoro and Sassari, to which Catania and Palermo were added in the first weeks of June. In particular, the opening in Bari has achieved exceptional results: over 3.000 customers in the first weekend, more than 2.700 new registrations for the Mondo Piada loyalty program and 2.400 piadinas served in the first five days. The response in Nuoro has also been excellent, with 5.600 piadinas sold in the first two weeks.

“Growth in the South represents a strategic and natural step,” says CEO Andrea Valota, “these are territories rich in energy, gastronomic culture and openness to innovation.” The La Piadineria model, based on simplicity, quality and customization, has proven capable of adapting to urban, tourist and commercial contexts. In addition to the South, the brand is strengthening its presence in Tuscany, where it has exceeded 20 locations, nine of which will open between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025.
