The ready-to-cook vegetable segment continues to show interesting growth dynamics, driven by consumers increasingly oriented towards practical, fast solutions consistent with a healthy eating style. The new product fits into this scenario. The Garden Salad, which expands the misSalad Ready to Cook line with Spinach cooked in a microwaveable bag.
The product directly responds to the concept of "product-service": a 300-gram pouch designed for direct microwave cooking, ready in four minutes (starting at 700 W), without the need for additional steps or utensils. A functional plus that meets everyday consumption needs, particularly during evening gatherings and in times of limited time.
From a supply chain perspective, this product showcases 100% Italian spinach, sourced from a production chain directly controlled by the company. This reinforces the product's qualitative positioning within the fresh-cut and ready-to-eat refrigerated cabinet, where service and reliable origin become key factors in choosing the product.
On the nutritional front, the microwaveable pouch cooking technology allows for the best preservation of the raw ingredients, preserving vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The consumer offering also reflects a simple, versatile approach: simple seasoning and flexible use as a side dish or base for ready-made dishes.
Particular attention was paid to the packaging, both in terms of shelf visibility and technical performance. The 40-micron microwaveable film ensures proper cooking of the product and helps improve its shelf life, while the graphic identity remains aligned with the misSalad range.
The innovation will be showcased at Fruit Logistica, within a renovated stand focused on sustainability and the circular economy. This strategic setting will present operators with a solution that combines process innovation, service value, and concrete rotation opportunities for the retail channel.
