Etruria Retail is strengthening its organizational structure with two key new hires, leveraging managerial skills and industry experience to support the development of its retail network. The cooperative, operating in Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, and Liguria with the Famila, Famila Market, and Super A&O brands, has appointed Lorenzo Seccafien as General Manager of GMS Srl and Sara Faucci as Marketing Manager.
The goal is to consolidate the cooperative's growth and strengthen its ties with the local communities through increasingly efficient and innovative management of its stores and communications activities.
Lorenzo Seccafien took office last February as head of GMS Srl, the subsidiary that manages Etruria Retail's directly operated stores. Originally from the Veneto region, he brings extensive experience in large-scale retail distribution, having worked at companies such as Lidl Italia, Obi Italia, and Gruppo Tuo. Over the past ten years, he has held positions of increasing responsibility at Pam Panorama, where he served as franchising operations director, sales director, and, since 2022, group operations director.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the operational management of the stores, logistics, and quality control, coordinating a team that employs several hundred employees and trainees.
Sara Faucci, the cooperative's new marketing manager, has also joined the management team. Born in Florence and now living in Siena, she earned a degree in Corporate Communication from the University of Siena and has built her career in marketing, advertising, and communications.
After a stint at Targetti and several years working in an agency, Faucci worked for over twelve years at Unicoop Firenze as an advertising manager. In 2021, she also obtained the PMP certification, specializing in managing complex projects and integrating strategy, organization, and client and stakeholder relationships.
Etruria Retail President Claudio Bernardini explained the significance of the new appointments, emphasizing that the cooperative intends to strengthen teamwork between its own stores and its network of affiliated entrepreneurs. The model requires innovations and operational solutions to be first tested in directly operated stores and then shared with the network, offering entrepreneurs proven and effective tools.
According to Bernardini, collaboration between the cooperative, members, producers, breeders, businesses, and associations is a central element of the company's development strategy.
With the addition of Seccafien and Faucci, Etruria Retail confirms its commitment to investing in high-profile professionals to support the evolution of its distribution network, improve customer services, and consolidate its position in the territories where it operates. This decision aims to enhance the relationship between innovation, proximity, and entrepreneurial ability, elements considered essential to addressing the future challenges of modern retail.
