The Conad System closed 2025 with all economic and financial indicators growing, consolidating its role as a leader in Italian large-scale retail trade. The National Consortium's Members' Assembly, composed of delegates from the five regional cooperatives—Conad Nord Ovest, Conad Centro Nord, CIA-Commercianti Indipendenti Associati, Conad Adriatico, and PAC 2000A—unanimously approved Conad's 2025 financial statements. President Mauro Lusetti highlighted the achievement, noting that the recently concluded financial year saw growth across all key indicators thanks to the cohesion between members and management of the system's cooperatives. Lusetti also emphasized the Consortium's role in institutional relations and engagement with social partners and intermediary bodies.

Conad's private label brand remains a key driver of growth, increasingly central to the brand's strategy. Private label sales are expected to reach €6,5 billion in 2025, with a 5,7% growth in value. This means the private label's share of the supermarket channel has risen to 33,8%, higher than the national average and close to European levels. Furthermore, according to Conad, 24% of Italian families choose the brand's stores precisely because of the presence of private label products, which are considered a distinguishing feature in terms of convenience, quality, and innovation. The brand's offering is developed along five strategic lines: convenience, sustainability and naturalness, health and well-being, service, and indulgence, with the aim of meeting increasingly diverse consumer needs.

2025 also confirmed the validity of the group's specialization and omnichannel strategy. Specifically, the PetStore Conad network reached 200 stores across 17 Italian regions, consolidating its presence in a rapidly growing segment. At the same time, the HeyConad digital ecosystem strengthened its omnichannel relationship with customers through services ranging from online shopping and travel to health, insurance, and pet care.

General Manager Francesco Avanzini explained that the Consortium continued to grow its revenue and market share in 2025, accelerating especially in specialized channels. Avanzini cited the PetStore experience as an example of the Conad model's ability to address specific needs through expertise and local proximity.

Over the year, the group also invested in private label innovation, considered a key tool for achieving ESG objectives, as well as in supply chain consolidation, digitalization, and the development of customer services and supplier relationships. In terms of communications and brand reputation, Conad achieved an overall brand awareness of 95,9% in 2025, with a Top of Mind of 18,5% among large-scale retail chains, the highest figure in the sector according to NielsenIQ. The brand also confirms its position as one of the most important national brands in international rankings: Conad is seventh in the Brand Finance Italy 100 2026 ranking and nineteenth in the Kantar BrandZ 2026 ranking, placing it at the top of the Italian retail scene.
