MD, the third discount chain in the country, the second with Italian capital, has inaugurated a new store of almost 2.000 square meters (1.889) in Savignano sul Rubicone, the first in the municipality of Romagna, the second in Forlì-Cesena and the 28th in Emilia-Romagna.
The new discount store is located in a building owned by the brand that wanted to redevelop an uncultivated land located at the beginning of the artisan/industrial area on the edge of the residential fabric of Savignano and will be the new workplace for 34 young people (average age 34) all from the area: 1 Store Manager, 2 Vice Store Managers, 2 Assistants, 4 bread sales assistants, 5 fruit and vegetable sales assistants, 2 sales assistants in the cured meats and cheese department, 3 non-food sales assistants, 9 general sales assistants, 3 butchers and 3 delicatessens.
Customers, among the 6 aisles and 5 checkouts of the new store, can find typical products such as Mortadella IGP with pistachios and Squacquerone di Romagna DOP, but also packaged or browned bread or served deli, take-away butcher's shop and fishmonger's. Among the services also the home delivery of bulky household appliances.
The new MD in Savignano sul Rubicone, equipped with a covered parking lot for 142 cars, is located in via Pio La Torre opposite via Emilia Ovest SS9 RIMINI-CESENA and is open from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 20:00 and on Sunday from 8:30 to 20:00.
