There's growing talk of advanced nutrition, controlled supply chains, and high-value-added products. It's in this context that Molino Nicoli presented itself at TUTTOFOOD 2026 with a clear strategy: transforming innovation into a concrete industrial lever, strengthening dialogue with international buyers and retailers seeking solutions capable of capturing new healthy consumption trends. Walking through the stand, the direction taken by the Costa di Mezzate company clearly emerges: building the “Better for You” of the future through applied research, productive investments and the development of new categories with high functional content.

Among the main innovations presented at the fair, the new line stands out No Added Sugars and the Protein Line, developed to meet the growing demand for balanced, nutritious products suitable for dynamic lifestyles. Two ranges that are part of an R&D pipeline of over 120 projects, with the aim of increase the share of turnover generated by new products to 15% by 2026.

"For us, looking to the future of food means being practical. Today, a conscious choice isn't just about taste, but about people's well-being throughout their lives." comments Piero Mirra, CEO of Molino Nicoli. “This year we are presenting ourselves with several new features and the ambition to propose an uncompromising approach to Better for You.”

One of the most significant signs of the company's strategy comes from baby food. Molino Nicoli has completed the revamping of its new line of light extruded snacks for infants, doubling production capacity to over 50 million packs annually. The investment aims to further strengthen safety and quality control standards, an increasingly central concern in the infant nutrition segment. The new building integrates separate areas, advanced control systems, and processes designed to minimize any risk of cross-contamination.

In a market where gluten-free, allergen-free, and functional nutrition are becoming structural drivers of purchasing decisions, Molino Nicoli consolidates its position as an industrial partner for large-scale retail and international private label retailers. This model relies on three separate plants, a short and controlled supply chain, and a presence in 42 countries. At TUTTOFOOD, the company also unveiled its new corporate website, designed as a platform for dialogue with stakeholders, retailers, and industrial partners, focusing on sustainability, transparency, and the development of tailor-made solutions. The message conveyed at the trade fair is clear: the future of food will increasingly hinge on safety, innovation, and the ability to meet consumers' evolving nutritional needs.
