Multicedi Srl has acquired 17 RossoTono stores in Campania and a logistics platform from Apulia Distribuzione. This operation strengthens the group's presence in the region, increasing its market share by 1,5 points. Most of the stores are located in Naples, with some located in other cities in Campania. The stores, managed by Multicedi through its subsidiary Multinvest Srl, will be renovated and reopened by November with the new Decò and Dodecà brands. The transformation promotes the EDLP model, characterized by competitive prices without promotions.
The acquisition also includes the 600 current employees, with the guarantee of maintaining employment levels. This operation confirms Multicedi's commitment to economic growth and development of the territory. The Board of Directors thanked the parties involved, including the trade unions, partners and banking institutions, for their collaboration.
In the context of the company's strategic plan, this acquisition is in addition to the upcoming opening of a logistics platform in Bitonto and the planned logistics hub in Lazio. Multicedi aims to expand in the regions of Campania, Lazio and Puglia, with the objective of reaching a turnover of over 2 billion euros within the next two years.
