Following the fire that affected the logistics hub of Rutigliano in December, General Trade SpA announces the acceptance of a new logistics hub located in Modugno (BA), at Via delle Violette 21. This operation is part of a broader program to restore and strengthen the Group's operational capacity. The newly constructed facility spans a total area of 30.000 square meters and is designed to meet stringent requirements in terms of efficiency, safety, and flow management. Operations are expected to begin at full capacity by the end of March 2026.

The transaction was completed within a short timeframe, following the activation of an internal task force tasked with identifying suitable solutions to ensure operational continuity and fulfillment of commitments made to customers, suppliers, and logistics partners. "We were committed to ensuring a timely and structured response to the Rutigliano event, while also safeguarding the Group's industrial and commercial relationships," stated Giovanni Cassano, Chairman of the Board of Directors. "The new Modugno hub represents a significant step in this direction and will strengthen our logistics structure."

The new hub will absorb the volumes previously handled at the Rutigliano site, while also promoting the introduction of new automation standards and greater efficiency in managing distribution flows. With this transaction, General Trade SpA confirms its industrial presence in Puglia and continues to consolidate its logistics model, consistent with the Group's objectives of business continuity, reliability, and sustainable development.
