Codacons and the influencer/entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni have reportedly reached an economic agreement to resolve the dispute related to the now famous case of the promotion of Balocco pandoro.
The contents are explained in a joint statement released by both parties, who thus want to "put an end to any mutual dispute and to promote, more generally, the easing of their respective relations".
The influencer will compensate with 150 euros the consumers who, represented by Codacons and the Association of Radio and Television Services Users, had sued her for fraud after they had purchased the "Pink Christmas" pandoro and in addition she will donate 200 thousand euros to a charity that deals with the protection of women victims of violence. In exchange, the association would be ready to withdraw the complaints.
Same charge of aggravated fraud but different strategy for Balocco who decided to move forward without any agreement, reiterating once again the "absolute transparency" and deferring to the final decision of the Prosecutor's Office.
