De Angelis Food., the Italian leader in the production of high-quality fresh pasta and ready meals, takes a new step towards environmental sustainability. The company has inaugurated a 120 kWp photovoltaic system in its Villafranca di Verona plant, built in collaboration with EnergRed, a company specializing in renewables.

The new installation, which covers 650 square meters of roof, will avoid the emission of approximately 95 tons of CO₂ every year, contributing to a production model that is more attentive to the planet. The project was realized without any initial investment thanks to EnergRed's CARE&SHARE model, which provides for the payment only of self-consumed energy, at reduced costs compared to the grid. "Clean energy is for us a natural extension of our commitment to quality and sustainability", said Paolo Pigozzo, CEO of De Angelis Food, underlining the importance of responsible choices to enhance the product and the territory.

Founded in 1983, the company is now part of a group of nine specialized companies that combine craftsmanship and innovation. Among the priorities: waste reduction, more sustainable packaging and lines dedicated to food well-being. Moreno Scarchini, CEO of EnergRed, commented with satisfaction on the project, a virtuous example of how quality and innovation can coexist in a greener agro-industry.
