With its new 2024 Sustainability Report, the Branca Group highlights a year of consolidation and targeted investments, where international growth is intertwined with an increasingly structured approach to social and environmental responsibility. The report captures a mature industrial model, capable of translating 180 years of tradition into measurable actions, innovation, and attention to key stakeholders.

On the environmental front, Branca has achieved significant progress in efficiency and circularity: 6% less electricity consumption, 7% less water consumption, and 8% less overall waste. The project to recover decommissioned barrels has avoided the disposal of 20 tons of oak, which has been reintroduced into new industrial supply chains. Efficiency improvements at its Italian plants are also continuing, including replacing refrigeration units, upgrading boilers, and expanding solar and photovoltaic systems.

People: Headcount grew by 7%, and 99% of employees have permanent contracts. Training hours increased by 6%, driven by the Branca Academy programs, which focus on technical skills, quality, safety, and well-being. Branca USA achieved Best Place to Work certification, strengthening the Group's reputation as a leading employer.

The company's financial performance shows strong growth: generated economic value reached €465,89 million (+19%), production value increased by 21%, distributed value increased by 16,5%, and net profit increased by 47%. The distribution of value confirms an inclusive model: 45% to suppliers, 10% to employees, 17% to public administration, and 28% to shareholders. The supplier network grew by 31%, consistent with the responsible sourcing strategy.

Branca maintains a global presence in 160 countries, with 80% of its revenue generated abroad. The Milan plant serves Europe, the USA, and APAC, while the Argentine plant covers South America. Branches in Africa and the Middle East are also expanding. Bottled volumes approach 80.000 tons, supported by steadily increasing demand and strategic distribution partnerships.

The historic brands – Fernet-Branca, Brancamenta, Carpano, Antica Formula, Punt e Mes, Borghetti, Stravecchio Branca, Candolini, Sernova and Gin Spirito Blu – maintain a distinctive identity and strong cultural value.

"The Sustainability Report explains who we are and how we want to grow: with consistency, care, and responsibility," says Niccolò Branca, President and CEO. "Complexity becomes leverage when addressed with balance and culture. For us, growth is authentic only if it generates shared value."
