Dit – Distribuzione Italiana, the headquarters of the Sigma and Sisa brands, has published its first Sustainability Report, marking an important stage in its journey towards a distribution model balanced between environmental, social and economic dimensions.

“This first Budget has a dual value for us,” says Oreste Santini, president of Dit. “On the one hand, it is an instrument of transparency; on the other, a concrete basis for building our future with ambitious goals.”

In 2024 Dit has earmarked 110.000 euros for sustainable investments, actively involving collaborators and suppliers in the shared responsibility path. 99% of employees are hired on a permanent basis, while Women make up 66% of the workforce, confirming the commitment to inclusion.

The group also focuses on local development: 45% of suppliers are represented by local entities, in line with the desire to strengthen short supply chains and enhance regional excellence. Furthermore, funds were provided 45 hours of training per employee on average, to support professional growth.

Among the most relevant collaborations are those with Slow Food, Legambiente, Doctors Without Borders and DiRe. – Women in Network against violence. The Report was drafted with the support of ESG Italia and edited by Homina.
