With a net profit of 12 million euros and gross revenues of 1,209 billion (+1,24%), Nova Coop opens the season of Shareholders' Meetings for the approval of the 2024 budget. From 19 May to 12 June it will be possible to vote in the stores, at separate Meetings or via PEC.
In a year still marked by strong inflationary pressures, the cooperative has focused on efficiency and margin containment to safeguard purchasing power. "We have chosen to defend families, increasing volumes and remaining faithful to our mutualistic values," declared President Ernesto Dalle Rive.
Among the main results: 126 million euros in discounts recognized to members (+18 million), 77 million pieces sold under the Coop brand (+5 million) and 108.812 home delivery expenses (+5,9%), for a value of 11,36 million. Receipts issued increased by 3,19%, reaching 33,68 million.
Net worth reached 870,5 million, with an increase of over 18 million. The network expansion also continues with investments of 26 million, including renovations and new openings.
Strong social commitment: 1,385 million meals donated (+20% the commercial value of the goods recovered) and 504 thousand euros in school materials distributed to 3.185 institutes. The social base also closed with growth, with 589.666 members (+6.700).
